I got my S-Video cable yesterday... this is so cool! Now, instead of burning things to dvd before we can watch them, I have my s-video cable hooked up to my laptop, got my display set for dual monitors, and hubby and I are watching a movie on the TV straight off of my external hard drive!

We knew that there wouldn't be anything on TV today, so I just launched Windows Media Player and queued up some shows... Let's see... we watched an episode of Dragnet, then The invisible man, then episode 1 of Quartermass, now we're watching "The Green Glove" with Glenn Ford.

I think after the movie, I'll queue up Hollywood Palace, Follow That Man, and depending on if hubby is behaving himself, I might make him watch The Betty Hutton Show.

The very cool thing is, I can still do other things on my computer while watching all this stuff on my TV. I love technology!
